Day Tour Details
Welcome to the historic Latimer House! With over 600 original artifacts on display, the Latimer House day tour tells the one-of-a-kind story of Zebulon Latimer, his wife Elizabeth Savage, and their impact on Victorian Wilmington.
Get transported back to the 19th century and learn about the Victorian Era through the eyes of a single family, from the Civil War to the Guided Age. Through 3 generations, you’ll get introduced to some of the most notable figures in Wilmington’s history. Hope to see you there!
Guided tours begin at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.
Each tour lasts approximately 50 minutes and includes two flights of stairs.
Tour groups are limited to 15 people.
Holiday observances may affect museum hours. Please call ahead to confirm that we are open. The museum is closed on:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- The day before Thanksgiving
- Thanksgiving Day
- December 23 through December 31
